Skillet Sausage and Potatoes
First, the recipe: Notes: This recipe requires at least 2 large frying pans. Technically this recipe is for 4 people, but realistically feeds 2 with one plate left over for tomorrow's lunch. Get out the griddle if you need more cooking space. - Ingredients - 14 oz. beef Polska Kielbasa, sliced long ways down the middle and then sliced into 1/4 inch pieces (make little half moons) 2 lb. gold or russet potatoes, sliced thickly and cut into 1 inch pieces 1/2 yellow sweet onion, al gusto (sliced, diced, or grated) ~2 tablespoons of bacon grease (recommended) or butter 1 1/2 teaspoons sage 4 cloves garlic, minced or grated salt and pepper, to taste optional: cayenne or hot sauce, to taste - Directions - 1.
